The weather is projected to be and sunny low 80s with the low of 64.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Today is our last full day in Florida. It may take 1-3 overnights to return home, depending how things gp.\u00a0 If we\u2019re lucky again it might be one. Today was filled with last minute things to do in town and a visit to the local Publix supermarket to replenish a few provisions for the trip home.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We spent some of the day packing up our set up, emptying tanks, and general getting ready to sneak out as early as possible in the morning.\u00a0 We’ve seen from a distance how the traffic in and around Jacksonville can be very bad, so here’s hoping an early start avoids that.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Paul did a gravel ride today in Guana River Wildlife Management Area. There were more armadillos and tortoises along with a host of pelicans and other birds. I prepped food for our journey home. Makes it so much easier when we have meals ready to reheat, rather than starting from scratch after a long day on the road.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We had made a dessert run to Scoop’s Ice Creat last night for a milkshake and a cone, which were very good.\u00a0 We checked out the old neighborhood outside the main historic area.\u00a0 Lots of old resale\/antiques, unique clothing shops, some B&Bs, coffee places, small eateries, and some musical entertainment. At the end of the street was Ripley\u2019s Believe it or Not.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

As we headed back to the campground it was very dark and I remembered the Magic Beach Motel neon bunnies.\u00a0 We hadn\u2019t seen if those bunnies were animated or not, so we took a short detour and gave them a look.\u00a0 Alas, the neon bunnies were not hopping out of the hat.\u00a0 As you can see above, there is a photo not a movie. All the same it was still cute and especially colorful in the darkness of night.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

As Paul likes to do, we drove around the local neighborhoods to check out the real estate and a marina.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We also realized last night that the new slideshow plugin we tried using is cutting off the photos in a really not so great way.\u00a0 So we are going to have to find something else or just take them out and let them be all stacked up on the page which will be a pain for quick downloading.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
