\n@ 11:00 am:<\/strong> First wind just blew in, all has been very still out there. Not much sound from birds or bugs.<\/p>\n

@ 11:45 am:<\/strong> rain started. Went to the village for beer & wine.<\/p>\n

@ 1:00pm:<\/strong>got the candles and lighters out.<\/p>\n

\u00c2\u00a0@ 4:00 sh pm:<\/strong> the rain started coming down a bit “harder and we had a little power flicker that caused us to lose the internet for a sec.
\n5:00 pm:<\/strong> HUGE flash out our window and that humming sound we hate to hear. Power Is Lost at our transformer.
\n6:00 ish pm:<\/strong> With the power out we decided to go get something to eat in Newark. We noticed that everyone had power but us.<\/p>\n

Then we saw the power truck coming down our road YAY .
\nHope to have power when we get home.<\/p>\n

Update, everyone had closed up their shops. It appears that the gov called a state of emergency. Everyone off the streets by 7:30 pm.<\/p>\n

On the way home: another update, southern Delaware has a tornado on the ground.\u00c2\u00a0Winds will be kicking up here very soon.<\/p>\n

No warning like that for us yet, thankfully.
\nWe took a photo of the Big Elk River on our way home. \u00c2\u00a0It is starting to swell, but is not very bad yet.<\/p>\n

@ 6:45 ish pm:<\/strong> we arrive home to see the power guy still up in his cherry picker working on the wires in the pouring down rain. Our house was still dark. \u00c2\u00a0 But a little while later we had lights and internet again.<\/p>\n
