Like physically wandering into something like <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wanderer_above_the_Sea_of_Fog\">Wanderer of the Sea Fog<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap has-text-align-left\">Iceland is like one big <span style=\"white-space: nowrap;\">nation-al<\/span> park. The whole country, just about anywhere you stop, has compelling nature and dramatic views, there&#8217;s no need to just focus on the official national parks.\u00a0 Case in point\u00a0<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap has-text-align-left\">Iceland is like a hat.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap has-text-align-left\">Camping in an RV is like being a turtle.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap has-text-align-left\">More on those thoughts later, right now it&#8217;s after midnight and things are settling down at the campground for the night.<\/p>\r\n<p>Here&#8217;s a photo for the first day taken at B\u00fa\u00f0akirkja, a 19th century wooden church in a lava field along the coast. The composition is somewhat accidental, taken through one church window, looking across the pews and out another church window onto the mountains behind.
