A packed day today! Creating this post at 9:00 pm while we have a beer and waiting to put our order in for dinner. We are in the Market Center on a Friday night the place is bustling with families and young folks (16 is the legal drinking age here) and I can hear others from north american a few tables over.

We started the day off with a hotel breakfast which we came down late for (time changes for weekends). The person who was working the buffet was wonderful to us. She ran back to the kitchen and fixed us up with a plate full of eggs, lovely bread and cheese, yogurt and a great big orange.

After that we hooked up Rask and hit the road on a full day of exploring. We saw some local historic places including the local castle and a windmill.

To the surprise of all the windmill was open and the miller was there and very willing to let us come in and explore. He gave us an amazing tour and Rask did the translation. The miller seemed happy that some folks from the US were there visiting his mill, since most just go to the north when they come to this country.

We then followed up with a visit to Rask’s mom’s home for some tea. We stopped and got a great berry and cherry pie at a bakery to go with the tea. It was a lovey time and she made us feel so welcomed.

Tomorrow we head off to adventures in Belgium!
