Today’s bit of philosophy comes from this piece of downtown art work. The top of the piece catches the light and sparkles in the sun. It mirrors the view of the mountains that surround Reykjavik.

Just look at how the mountains
So very might be
Sharp as razors at the top
They span the land and sea
But don’t forget that majestic spires cupped with snow
From each and every single grain of sand they grow.

After some time in the capital city, we spend the rest of the day on the south coast, wandering the snow-covered roads and somewhat desolate fishing villages.
