All here at the Tron waiting for the concert to start. We have great seats, third  row center. Had a great meal at the Tron Cafe, which is attached to the venue, highly recommend it. Heard the concert will be record on video. Wonder if we will ever get to see it. No photos allowed, but we’ll see if we can sneak one in.

UPDATE: Concert was really great. Lots of great music and various types of pipes from around the world, all musicians were fantastic.

James MacKenzie and Friend started the night off.
Next up was a wonderful ensemble from Galicia featuring piper Xaquin Xesteria.
Then came Paddy Keenan & Tommy O’Sullivan who was later joined by Nuala Kennedy.
Piper Fred Morrison was joined by Matheu Watson who was followed by Xesteira & Friends for another set.
It all came to an end when Paddy and Tommy returned for a few sets, then was joined by Nuala, Fred & Matheu to finish off the night.

Our last day in Glasgow was great . Started off the day with lots of walking. We made our way up to the Glasgow Cathedral and did a tour of St. Mungo’s Religion Museum, which was very interesting and I highly recommend it. Then we walked across town to the Rene Mackintosh School of Design for a tour. Was very interesting if you are a fan of Mackintosh, the Arts and Crafts movement, and Art Nouveau.

The day ended with the concert, fully enjoyed by all.
